Clywyd Archers Portsmouth

Congratulations to Caldy Bowmen's Sam Hamlett and Ray Hamlett, who won the 50+ Ladies Compound class and the 50+ Gents Recurve class at the Clywyd Archers Portsmouth.

Caldy Bowmen Annual Portsmourth Tournament

Congratulations to Caldy Bowmen's Sam Hamlett who finished third in the Ladies Compound class at our Annual Portsmouth Tournament.

Congratulations also to Caldy Bowmen's Clara who finished third in the Junior Lady Recurve class.

Well done to both of you.

National Clout Championship

Congratulations to Caldy Bowmen's Sam Hamlett who finished third in the Ladies Compound class at the National Clout Championship, held at the Hopgrove Sports Field in York.

This is a fantastic result for Sam. A notable mention also goes to Ray Hamlett shooting in the Gents Recurve class.

Well done to both for representing Caldy Bowmen on the national stage.

Bebington Archers Western

Congratulations to Caldy Bowmen's John Gardner who finished second in the Gents Recurve class at the Bebington Archers Western shoot.

Caldy had a few members attend the shoot, notably with Dan Davies and Ray Hamlett finishing in fourth and sixth place respectivley. Well done to everyone who competed.

Cheshire County Bowmen Portsmouth Competition

Caldy Bowmen fielded two teams at the Cheshire County Bowmen team Portsmouth shoot on Sunday 4th February 2024.

One recurve and one compound team competed at the tournament. The teams must consist of a mixture of senior gents, senior ladies and juniors, with each team requiring to consist of at least two of those categories to be eligible.

All of those taking part thoroughly enjoyed the event with some claiming personal best scores along the way.
