Annual Indoor Tournament
The 39th Annual Indoor Tournament took place at our indoor shooting venue on 25th November 2018. There was a good turnout, with archers representing many of the clubs in the North west region.
50th Anniversary Dinner
Congratulations to all of the members who received awards during the celebration dinner to commemorate the club's 50th anniversary.
It was good to see so many members of the club attend the event and especially that awards were given to newer members, as well as to those who are more established.
Novice Compound Success
Congratulations to Rob for his achievment in coming 1st in the Junior Gents Compound class at the Angela Swain Novice Shoot, held at New Century Bowmen in Macclesfield.
This was Rob's first competition shooting a Short National round and in addition to finishing first in his class, he also secured the 'best gold' award. Rob also earned a gold 'Cheshire Cat' badge for his score and managed to shoot a six gold end at both 50yds and 40yds.
Cheshire County Bowmen
Congratulations to the Barebow team, consisting of Ivy Manning, Adam Edge, Ken Edge and Dave Hesketh, for coming 2nd at the Cheshire County Bowmen's Team Shoot.
There were also indvidual medals awarded to CBAC Members; Ivy Manning 2nd female highest Barebow score, Ken Edge 3rd male highest Barebow score and Rowan Hughes 3rd Junior highest Compound score. Well done to all.
